Things we do all day in the veterinary practice, but sometimes not fully understanding why we do it.  Understanding and practicing the aseptic placement techniques, how to secure lines as to get full benefit out of them, with limiting the chance of infection and the ongoing maintenance of these catheters.  Different tubes covered will include intravenous catheters, arterial catheters, and urinary catheters in both male and females.
