Management of canine myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) has undergone major updates over the past few years. This talk provides a review on the updated diagnostics and therapeutic recommendations for different stages of MMVD according to the ACVIM consensus statement, as well as present new research findings to allow clinicians to be better equipped in tackling this common cardiac condition.
